Mental health

Living in a new culture is both an exciting and challenging experience. If you feel lonely or stressed there is lots of support available for you. It's important to talk to your family and friends, but you can also speak to TAFE Queensland staff members, Student Support Services or to a TAFE Queensland counsellor.

You can also speak to a doctor or GP who can refer you to mental healthcare professionals who can provide support and assistance. You can also contact the Queensland Transcultural Mental Health Centre. Translated brochures can be found here.
