Hospitality

Open up a variety of exciting career paths in hospitality with our wide range of courses. Whether you want an entry-level, supervisory, or management position in accommodation, casinos, clubs, food and beverage, or restaurants, we can help you make great happen.

Study hospitality

The hospitality industry offers a variety of exciting career pathways. From five star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants to internationally renowned casinos; the opportunities are endless. Rising discretionary incomes, increasing business travel, and busier lifestyles are fuelling strong growth in the hospitality sector. Despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Australian Government's JobOutlook service predicts job prospects for cafe workers, waiters and other hospitality workers to grow very strongly over the next five years.

As a hospitality student at TAFE Queensland you'll gain practical experience in our on-campus training restaurants. You'll have the opportunity to serve real customers taking orders, preparing drinks, serving food, and processing payments in a live environment.

TAFE Queensland offers a wide range of hospitality courses from responsible service of alcohol and gambling short courses through to entry-level certificates and high-level diplomas. Whether you want an entry level, supervisory, or management position in accommodation, casinos, clubs, food and beverage, or restaurants, we have a course to get you there.
