Explore current environmental issues, gain an understanding of current environmental legislation and learn how to develop and facilitate conservation and land management projects. Or get your hands dirty and gain skills in plant care, landscape management, propagation, pruning, and fertilising to maintain tropical gardens, nurseries, forest parks and lawns, or grow quality organic fruit and vegetables.


Learn essential trade level skills such as plant care, landscape management, propagation, nursery skills, costing and estimating, soils and plant nutrition, plant identification and soft and hard landscaping. You will learn to install drainage and irrigation systems, provide information on plants and their culture, prepare, treat and handle chemicals, control plant pests, diseases and disorders, cost projects and conduct site inspections. Use your new skills to create, design or maintain beautiful tropical gardens, exquisite lawns through to growing quality organic fruit and vegetables.
